These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of kase.land and the KASE Weather service (together, the "Service"), operated by SkiTutor, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; changes take effect when posted on this page.
KASE Weather is an informational tool for travelers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any airline, Aspen/Pitkin County Airport, the FAA, or any government agency. Risk scores are statistical estimates built from public data. They are not predictions about any specific flight, and they are not aviation weather briefings.
Airlines make their own operational decisions based on factors we cannot see, including aircraft weight, crew availability, runway conditions, and company policy. Always confirm the status of your flight with your airline before making travel decisions.
The Service is not intended for flight planning or aviation operations. Pilots and operators must use official sources such as FAA briefing services and aviationweather.gov.
We offer paid subscriptions and one-time purchases (collectively, "Premium"). Current offerings and pricing are shown on our Premium page. Until Premium launches, signups are a waitlist and no payment is collected.
When Premium is live: payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card number. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Annual plans renew automatically each year until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and your plan remains active through the end of the period you paid for. One-time purchases (such as Trip Watch) cover the travel window you specify at purchase and do not renew.
Premium purchases come with a 7-day money-back guarantee: if you request a refund within 7 days of purchase, we will refund you in full, no questions asked. Email support@kase.land. After 7 days, annual plans can be canceled to stop renewal but are not prorated.
Premium alerts are delivered by email and, where you have opted in, by SMS. Delivery is best-effort: email and SMS depend on third-party networks we do not control, and weather data feeds can be delayed or unavailable. You should not rely on the absence of an alert as confirmation that conditions are good.
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive KASE Weather alert texts. Message frequency varies with the weather. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase.

The intellectual property in the materials on this website, including the risk model, site content, and design, is owned by or licensed to SkiTutor, LLC. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license terminates automatically if you violate these Terms.
Underlying weather and flight data originate from U.S. government sources (NOAA, NWS, FAA, DOT/BTS) and commercial data providers. Government data is in the public domain; our scoring, presentation, and analysis of it are not.
The Service displays data from, and links to, third parties (including government weather services, airlines, and news sources). We have not reviewed and do not endorse linked sites, and we are not responsible for their content or accuracy. Use of linked sites is at your own risk.
The Service and its materials are provided "as is." We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and disclaim all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that risk scores, forecasts, flight data, or alerts are accurate, complete, timely, or reliable, or that use of the Service will produce any particular result. Back-tested model performance does not guarantee future performance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkiTutor, LLC shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including without limitation missed flights, travel disruption costs, loss of profits, loss of data, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damage. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater, and if you have paid us nothing, to $0.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately upon written notice if you breach these Terms. If we terminate a paid plan without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your term.
Any provision of these Terms that is wholly or partially void or unenforceable is severed to the extent of that defect; the validity of the remainder of these Terms is not affected.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
